He joined KPMG Japan Audit, Century audit Corporation (International Division) in 1994. He mainly engaged in audit for foreign businesses in Japan, accounting advsory services for application of US GAAP/IFRS for Japanese major veheicle manufactures, financial due diligence services and inbound support for foreign businesses. Also, as for domestic operations, he engaged in auditing for domestic listed businesses and advisory services for IPO candidates as well as consulting for introducing accounting systems to the public sectors.
From 2004 to 2007, at the KPMG London, he consulted domestic leading general trading companies, megabanks, and leading electronics firms in relation to accounting and taxes in Europe as well as promoted Japanese companies entering to UK.
From 2007 to 2015, at KPMG Azsa LLC, he engaged in audit services for both domestic and foreign businesses. In 2009, he became a partner of KPMG Azsa.
After becoming independent in July, 2015, he established this company and was appointed representative partner. Also, through his involvement in the activities of the International Committee of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants as a committee member, he was proactively involved in adopting and applying IFRS in Japan.
